My fourth IS lesson Intro to CSS

In this lesson, we learnt about CSS(Cascading style sheet).We leearnt that CSS can help our HTML and turn the appearence of our website or blog into one which catches the attention of the person who visits the website or blog.In the end, i feel that CSS will be something useful to anyone who does any selling or marketing on the internet.Actually,it is a useful tool which everyone can use.

My third IS lesson,learning about HTML

In lesson three,we learn about the very first few steps to
making a website. We learnt that in order to build websites,
one must use the HTML(Hypertext Markup Language).We
were also told to go home and view two wesites as they both
provide useful tutorials on HTML basics which will be helpful
in creating a website as it gives you several pointers on how
build a website properly. I felt that the lesson on how to make
a website using HTML was rather interesting and could be
useful when one feels like creating a website.

My second IS lesson:Forum discussions -social web, intellectual property,blog/website

Today, i watched a video titled "copy not right'!Hossan Leong" for IS.
Through the video, i have learnt that copying things from the internet
without the seeking the permission of the copyright holder is very wrong.
It is something against the law and u can be sued for plagerism. I have also
learnt about the do's and don'ts when taking information off the internet
and should always credit the source when necessary. I've also learnt that
we can only copy a maximum of 10% or a chapter of a book or magazine
but must be for personal use.Further more,i have learnt that we should not
reproduce work that people have gone through painstaking efforts to acomplish.
I felt that the video was very meaningful as i learnt the consequences for
plagerism.

My First IS Lesson:The Internet & WWW

In lesson one we learned about the differences between web 1.0
applicaton and web 2.0 applicaton.We also learned about the URL
(uniformed resource locator) and the FTP( file transfer protocol).
We watched an interesting video titled "Did you know". I thought
that the first IS lesson pretty interesting as i learned things about
the internet i never knew.

Hi my name is Kenneth Tan from Hwa Chong instituiton.I like to swim
and read comics once in a while. I don"t really have much experience with
infocomm technology.I try to learn and pay attention as much as possible
during infocomm studies to pick up some technical skills that would come in
